2018 Weekly NFL Picks (week 13)

2018 Weekly NFL Picks (week 13)

Now the final month of the regular season has arrived. This is where great football gets played on and off the field. So Baker Mayfield of the Browns has a problem with his former head coach going to a division rival in the Cincinnati Bengals. However, he did not make the situation any better after the game. In the postgame he did not hug his former head coach Hue Jackson. Then makes some costly that did not make sense out of left field. Baker just needs to grow up and quickly. Got a good matchup on Thursday Night Football, and it could be a playoff preview between the Saints and Cowboys. The Mike McCarthy era in Green Bay could be in jeopardy, especially when your behind 2 teams in the division. I do not see playoffs for them in 2018. Now on to my picks and it was a good but barely winning week. I went 8-7 in week 12, and for the month of November I was 30-25. In 2018 I’m 109-65-2 so a great year so far nonetheless. 2018 Weekly NFL Picks (Week 12)

oh well happy thanksgiving to you and everybody else. yes get the holiday festive gestures out of the way. Last week there was a lot of close games, no blowouts whatsoever. You got to like the NFL in Football  2018, as the games. Alex Smith, i feel bad for him (a joe Theissman type of a injury) as he suffered a leg injury to end his season. So Smith can get ready for 2019, as will a lot of teams as there playoff hopes start to take a major league hit. My picks last week was BAD, and how bad could have been, you ask? I went 4-9 in week 11, which is the all time worst week for me picking games. In the month of November i’m 22-18. 2018 Weekly NFL Picks (Week 11)

2018 Weekly NFL Picks (Week 11)

What an NFL season so far, you got to love the action on and off the field. The Le Veon Bell saga is finally over, and he will miss the season because of his shenanigans. Yeah i said it, and i hope it costs him big.  So lets see how the Steelers do without him now. The Giants finally win a game but they had to come from behind to do it vs 49ers. It does not mean Eli Manning is off the hook, at least for now. The Chiefs-Rams game will not be played in Mexico City, due to playing field conditions. I do not see the NFL going to Mexico City again anytime soon. So on to the picks, and its been a stellar year so far. I went 9-5 in week 10, and for the month of November I’m 18-9. In the 2018 NFL season so far, i’m 97-49-2. Another 100 win season is coming soon, so proud of it on doing it 6 seasons in a row. Now for the week 11 picks as the race for the playoffs begin here:

2018 Weekly NFL Picks (Week 9)

2018 Weekly NFL Picks (Week 9)

the halfway point of the NFL regular season has come and gone, and now this is where the best football gets played. We have our 1st coach getting fired, and it should come as no surprise to anybody in the NFL. Hue Jackson (who would have known?) fired after winning 3 games in 3 seasons. It was eventually going to happened regardless on how you slice it. The Cleveland Browns continued there dysfunctional ways as the leading the foolishness of pro sports in the United States. Where the Browns go from here is anybody’s guess. The trade deadline was about as active as the horse racing is all over the country. So many players dealt to teams for draft picks, and rightfully so. The Eli Manning era appears to be winding down (at least with the Giants) with now of all people Terrell Owens says the Giants need to bench Eli Manning. I will agree with him for once, however he still needs to shut up about it. Now for the picks as November arrives to the NFL season. I went 12-2 in week 8, and for the month of October I went 40-18. It was a very good month for me, and for the season I’m 79-40-2. So now here is the week 9 picks:

Thursday Night:

49ers over Raiders

Early Sunday:

Bears over Bills

Dolphins over Jets

Redskins over Falcons

Panthers over Buccaneers

Steelers over Ravens

Chiefs over Browns

Vikings over Lions

Seahawks over Chargers

Rams over Saints

Sunday Night:

Patriots over Packers

2018 Weekly NFL Picks (Week 6)

2018 Weekly NFL Picks (Week 6)

Welcome to October football in the NFL. Its been an interesting season so far with only 2 undefeated teams so far (Chiefs and Rams). Now this is the month I call, time to rebound month for those teams that are not looking so good. Drew Brees passes both Brett Favre and Peyton Manning for the all time passing yards in NFL history. There is no doubt Brees will be in the Hall of Fame one day. There maybe more records that Brees is seeking, the next the Touchdown Passes record (Peyton Manning has that to this day). Now for the picks as last week in week 5 I went 8-7, and for the season I’m 47- 29-2 in 2018. Now for week 6 action:

Thursday Night:

Giants over Eagles

Early Sunday:

Seahawks over Raiders (In London)

Chargers over Browns

Texans over Bills

Steelers over Bengals

Falcons over Buccaneers

Bears over Dolphins

Panthers over Redskins

Vikings over Cardinals

Colts over Jets

Late Sunday:

Rams over Broncos

Jaguars over Cowboys

Titans over Ravens

Sunday Night:

Patriots over Chiefs

Monday Night:

Packers over 49ers

There you have it, my picks are on the board for now. Enjoy the football and we have more coming from the MLB Playoffs really soon .

2018 Weekly NFL Picks (week 3)

2018 Weekly NFL Picks (week 3)

How about this NFL season so far, is it exciting for you yet? Well if it is not, give it time because there is plenty of football left. How about a few notes around the league. Josh Gordon has a new team: New England Patriots. I mean should we really be surprised by this? I know i am not at all shocked at this. I am just waiting for the day when his Patriots tenure is over. Jon Gruden has a lot of nerve these days. Can we go ahead and move the Raiders to Las Vegas as soon as humanly possible? I have had enough of this Raiders malarkey for 2018. The Khalil Mack trade will forever change the way the Raiders are perceived to the rest of the league, for a long time. Finally, which 0-2 team still has a shot at the playoffs? My answer is no one for now, but could that change this week. Plenty of good games to happen this week, and lets get to the picks. Wait a minute! i need to update the loyal fans and new ones as well on my picks record. in week 2 not a great week, but had a lot of bad breaks so i went 7-8-1, and for the season i’m 18-12-2. Can we please get rid of ties once and for all, nobody gives a darn anymore about ties.  Now for the week 3 picks:

Thursday Night:

Jets over Browns (don’t matter if they are the favorite, i don’t trust them)

Early Sunday:

Saints over Falcons

Broncos over Ravens

Giants over Texans

Bengals over Panthers

Titans over Jaguars

Chiefs over 49ers

Dolphins over Raiders

Vikings over Bills

Eagles over Colts

Packers over Redskins

Late Sunday:

Rams over Chargers

Bears over Cardinals

Cowboys over Seahawks

Sunday Night Game:

Patriots over Lions

Monday Night Football:

Steelers over Buccaneers

There you have it, my weekly picks are up and let me know how you feel about it.

2018 Weekly NFL Picks (Week 2)

2018 Weekly NFL Picks (Week 2)

What an opening week of NFL Football, I mean you could not scripted any better or worse for teams all over the league. We had the longest game being played in NFL history (Titans vs Dolphins), try 7 hours and 8 minutes (official time). We had a tie in the Steelers-Browns game. There were a couple of noteworthy comebacks in last week’s action.  Even the Monday Night football doubleheader was fantastic. So without further ado, here comes the picks. In week 1 I went 11-4-1 and that is my season record thus far. Now for the Week 2 picks:

Thursday night game:

Ravens over Bengals

Early Sunday:

Jets over Dolphins

Saints over Browns

Chiefs over Steelers

Texans over Titans

Eagles over Buccaneers

Vikings over Packers

Chargers over Bills

Redskins over Colts

Falcons over Panthers

Late Sunday:

49ers over Lions

Rams over Cardinals

Patriots over Jaguars

Broncos over Raiders

Sunday Night

Giants over Cowboys

Monday Night

Seahawks over Bears

There you have it my latest picks in the NFL, so enjoy the action.

NFL Playoffs: Conference Title Games Preview + Picks

NFL Playoffs: Conference Title Games Preview + Picks

What a weekend in store for the NFL, as the playoffs continue to get interesting. We got a new comer to the fold. What is more intriguing is that 3 of the 4 teams will be looking to win a super bowl for the 1st time ever. Only the New England Patriots have been the recent winners of a super bowl. How about them Jacksonville Jaguars, being the story of the playoffs thus far? First they barely beat the Buffalo Bills, and then beat up on the Pittsburgh Steelers last weekend. I mean that is a shocker for the ages, we thought it was 1996 all over again. In that season, the Jaguars beat the Bills and the Broncos. Then playing, and losing to the surprising New England Patriots, in the AFC title game that year. We will see how the Jaguars fare this time around. They will need to contain Tom Brady and the rest of the dynamic Patriots.

In the NFC title game, who knew it would be the Eagles and the Vikings? This one could be my toughest pick of the season. I honestly don’t know who to root for? Both teams are starting backup quarterbacks. The Vikings really don’t have a starter, but they have 3 capable quarterbacks that could start on any team. Keenum, Bradford, and Bridgewater are all active for this game. As for the Eagles they have Nick Foles, need I say more? Since taking over for Carson Wentz, Foles has played decently for the most part. I however have yet to see his best game. This would be a good time for one. So this game should be an interesting one.

AFC Championship Game: Patriots over Jaguars

NFC Championship Game: Vikings over Eagles

There you have it, and cannot wait for the super bowl in Minnesota in 2 weeks. I am not doing the pro bowl so don’t even ask this year.

My Divisional Playoff Picks (NFL Playoffs)

My Divisional Playoff Picks (NFL Playoffs)

what a playoff round last week, i thought the wild card games was great. No more Jon Gruden on ESPN, as he is headed to Oakland to coach the Raiders for some unfinished business? Okay, we will see later this year if the Raiders can rebound after going 6-10 in 2017. The Chicago Bears hired Matt Nagy, former Offensive Coordinator of the Kansas City Chiefs. The Tennessee Titans made a comeback that made average football fans take notice. Even the Titans head coach Mike Mularkey was still on the hot seat, after all this in getting the Titans in the playoffs. Even after the swoon in December, every Titans fan wanted him gone as soon as the season is over. That will not be happening anytime soon, as the owner came out and declared him back for the 2018 season. Last week in the wild card round, i went 3-1 and that was a shock. The Chiefs let me down in unique fashion. Here is my latest picks in the NFL Playoffs:

Saturday’s Action:

Falcons over Eagles

Patriots over Titans

Sunday’s Action:

Steelers over Jaguars

Saints over Vikings

There you have it, my divisional playoff picks are up. Almost Super Bowl time and hopefully something new will happen. By the way, i will have an announcement in regards for Chris Wood Sports coming soon.
