Well we have now reached the last of the season, the UFL Championship game that will be taking place this coming Sunday afternoon on FOX. The USFL Champion Birmingham Stallions will be going for a third straight Spring Championship (a.k.a. Three Peat), as they take on the XFL Champion San Antonio Brahmas. The Brahmas shocked the world by beating the heavily favorite St. Louis Battlehawks for the XFL title. I mean most people expected the Battlehawks to be in the league championship game. However, that will not be the case as the Brahmas surprised the football world in pulling one of the greatest upsets in the UFL all season. I am not surprised on how the Brahmas have played all season. There defense does not allow much scoring in there games. I am more surprised on how the Battlehawks put on a disappearing act at the wrong time. Now since the football world will be shocked by this development, as it turns out. Any San Antonio football team has always beaten any of Birmingham’s teams, lets hope the result be different. At least that is what the Stallions are hoping for. These 2 teams play just a few weeks ago, and it was no contest in San Antonio. It was only a 18-9 score, and holding the Stallions to less than double digits did send shockwaves to everyone in the UFL. That was the only time the Brahmas was in first place all season in the XFL Conference. The Stallions had to play the Michigan Panthers back to back weeks, and it was a big time struggle. They however pull through whether it is Adrian Martinez or Matt Corrall playing Quarterback for the Stallions. Before the end of the 3rd quarter of last week’s game, it look liked the run was over. Then the Stallions started to get right and they are playing in the championship. They remembered how to win the tough games. Now they have to finish the deal in St. Louis. So now time for my championship pick to wrap up this UFL season.
